The Congress for Humanitarian & Economic Progress (CHEP) provides strategic consulting, project-based core services, and campaigns for initiatives that work to eliminate the root causes of social, economic, environmental and health-related injustices. We aim to build systems that create access to resources for communities to thrive.
Founded in 2016, the Congress for Humanitarian & Economic Progress (CHEP) convenes subject matter experts from various fields to identify the root causes of systemic issues, develops focused action plans to address fractures that impact social needs, establishes systems to monitor progress and develops structures to advance equity in communities.
As a vector for change, CHEP also provides philanthropic support to organizations for infrastructure-based projects that positively address social needs and is committed to supporting a pipeline of changemakers that are dedicated to the values of social justice philanthropy as a means of improving overall community wellbeing.
